My daughter is a mostly B student, but when her grades started to drop, I turned to Julie for help. She helped me to see we had two significant problems: my daughter didn't pay much attention to every assignment and I was simply bewildered by the grading system of formative, interim and summative assessments and how they're weighted. Julie was monumental in helping us both to see in black and white how to better navigate teacher expectations, grades and assignments; and, I learned my way around the online grading system with tricks and tools I didn't know existed. Doing well on tests is not the only important part of a grade, every point counts and respectfully communicating with the teacher goes a long way toward a better grade.
